No internet, no Obama. The difference between the Obama and Clinton campaigns in understanding what can be accomplished through online politics has been a decisive factor in the greatest political upset in the history of the presidential primary era.
There are other important differences, of course: the caucus strategy, the glamour, the oratory, the speech forthrightly addressing the prejudice. But none of these would have been decisive without the money Obama raised online, the videos Obama posted online, and, above all, the millions of people who connected with the Obama campaign on their own times and terms online.
